Today marks the 2nd week anniversary of when we first met Tesfahun. I remember seeing Tesfahun for the first time and thinking "Yup! He is my son". He was just meant to be with us! I am still amazed me that God knew that he should be a part of our family. We are truly blessed to be parents again. It is hard to put into words what a wonderful experience we have just been through, so I thought a video would be a better way to share our journey to our son.

The Process
- Nov. 2006 - Attended an adoption informational meeting.
- Jan, 2007 - Sent in an application to our adoption agency.
- Jan. - Feb., 2007 - Completed 1st adoption packet.
- June, 2007 - Attended a 2 day adoption class - we decided to adopt from Ethiopia.
- July, 2007 - DH and I completed our self-study for our adoption.
- Aug., 2007 - Completed our home studies.
- August, 2007 - Received our dossier paperwork for Ethiopia.
- Sept., 2007 - Sent in our dossier.
- Sept. 25, 2007 - We are officially on the waiting list.
- May 22, 2008 - Received a referral for a baby boy from Ethiopia.

Wow, I am so impressed! That video is amazing and what a wonderful keepsake to show Tesfahun when he gets older!! I didn't want it to end! Even the song fits perfect...just like Tesfahun does in your family! Thanks for sharing it with all of us! Take care and enjoy every minute.
