We dropped the kids off at school today and then I have been picking up and cleaning our house. It isn't really dirty but I feel like I need to be doing something. My husband is calmly sitting on the couch watching TV:)
We are heading to my parents house and then to the airport in a little over two hours. Our flight leaves at 3:15 and we will be arriving in Ethiopia, Thursday at 9:05 pm (1:05 pm our time). I feel like I am on a roller coaster...I am so excited, but at the same time pretty nervous. I just can not wait to meet my new son!!! We have been waiting for over two years to meet him and to think the time is finally here is pretty overwhelming.
We are going to try to post as much as possible when we are in Ethiopia!

We will take good care of Katie and Andrew. Our prayers are with you and Tim always but now especially for a safe trip to pick up your new son. I am sure it will be a great experience. We will be so happy when all three of you arrive home again.

Hi Amy and Tim,
I am sure by the time you read this you will be there and probably pretty exhausted. I pray your time in the air went smoothly and didn't seem to be too long. Andrew has a good day today (Wed.) and seemed just fine. He met Michael after school and off they went. So far, so good! Don't worry about anything here and just enjoy your time and every second you have with TJ. I can't wait to hear about how it went and how it felt the first second that you laid eyes on your son! Take care, be safe and ENJOY! I will write every day I can and let you know how Andrew is doing!

Just wanted to let you know that Andrew had a good day today! (It's Thursday). He was picked up right on time for his dentist appointment. He saw Katie in the lunchroom right when I was picking my class up...it was so cute. I looked and they were standing there giving each other a big hug! I will keep my eye on him. Before you know it you will be home with little TJ! God bless you guys! Take care!
